Tradewind Finance Provides Export Factoring Facility for Electronics Trading Company in China

Tradewind Finance is delighted to reveal that it has successfully closed a USD 300,000 export factoring facility for an electronics trading company in Hunan, China. The facility enabled the company to release the cash flow tied up in its receivables, allowing it to pay suppliers in a timely manner and take advantage of new business opportunities in the US market.

As computers and electronics remain the largest import commodities from China, with a customs import value of USD 161 billion in 2022, according to the US Census Bureau, the company, which was established in recent years, saw a significant opportunity to expand its business in the US market.

Seizing on this opportunity, the Hunan-based company quickly developed into a competitive exporter of the US electronics market, and its annual export volume reached over USD 5 million. However, with its rapid growth came the challenge of managing cash flow effectively.

To address the challenge of a cash flow shortage, the trader turned to Tradewind for its 23-year solid record in the alternative financing industry. The export factoring facility of USD 300,000, along with credit protection, enabled the company to strengthen its supply chain, expand its product offerings, and reduce trade risks. In this way, the trader could afford a long-duration payment term of 90 days, which was requested by its overseas buyers.

“We are honored to partner with the rapidly growing trader and provide them with the necessary financial support they need to grow their business. With our timely trade finance solutions, the client was able to focus on their core business and increase their sales volume,” said Dickson Au, Regional CEO – Far East, at Tradewind Hong Kong.
